Accessibility

From parking to the trade show floor, the GWCC is fully accessible to all guests. There are ramps at all entrances, and restroom facilities for disabled patrons are provided throughout the facility. 

All facilities on the Georgia World Congress Center Authority’s campus are ADA compliant. GWCCA welcomes guests with disabilities and their assistive animals. Elevators in the GWCCA offer braille instructions. 

Attendee List

Please be aware that it is possible you will be contacted by a variety of companies claiming to have access to our attendee data or will claim to be one of our suppliers of the event. These are scams and use our logo and event name to make it look legitimate. Our list of approved suppliers are featured on the exhibitor portal. If you have any queries about an inbound inquiry regarding anything to do with the exhibition, please contact your Customer Service Manager who will verify their legitimacy. Please be assured that we do not sell or distribute your data. We are doing everything in our power to prevent situations like these from occurring.

Audio & Visual

ON Site is GWCCA’s in-house AV service provider. A full-service, audio visual rental and staging company, ON Site provides the convenience, expertise, and cost-effective management to ensure that your meeting or event is a complete success.

Business Services

Located in the Building B and C entrance lobbies, the FedEx Office offers the following to meet your convention and business needs: 

  • Full service digital color and black and white copying and printing
  • Computer rentals, laptop docking stations
  • Document finishing services – binding, collating, cutting, folding, stapling
  • Presentation services that include production of high quality mounted boards, posters, banners
  • Wheelchair and mobility scooter rentals
  • Copier equipment rentals
  • FedEx Express® U.S. Package Services
  • FedEx Ground®
  • Office supplies.

 

Catering

The Georgia World Congress Center Authority partners with Levy Restaurants day-to-day to provide food safely to its guests. 

Daycare

GWCC does not provide childcare services. There are multiple nearby childcare centres to choose from. Please note: children are not permitted on the show floor.

Disabled Parking

Disabled parking spots are located on the rooftop of the parking garage of the GWCC. Valet parking services are available from First Class Parking Systems. 

Electricity 

Electricity is not included in your package. To order, please go through the ‘Show Exclusive Suppliers’ page.

Exhibitor Badges

Your Exhibitor badges can be collected from the exhibitor registration desk just inside the hall during build up and show days. There is no cost for exhibitor badges and there is no limit on how many you can request, but please bear in mind the size of your stand.

Exhibitor Insurance

ALL contractors and space only stands MUST hold valid Public & Products Liability Insurance, which covers them and indemnifies for all activity involving stand construction, operation and deconstruction, at the event and in the country to which this information pertains.

First Aid

If you or someone around you are experiencing a medical emergency such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, or loss of consciousness, call 911 immediately or ask someone nearby to do so. 

For non-emergency medical concerns, you can approach any of the GWCC team, who can help you with a non-emergency medical issue. Alternatively, please speak to a member of show management. 

Note: By attending this event, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own health and well-being. The event organizers and venue are not liable for medical incidents or outcomes.

Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

The Georgia World Congress Center Authority partners with Levy Restaurants day-to-day to provide food safely to its guests. The GWCCA’s official food and beverage partner since 2006, Levy Restaurants provides world-class food and hospitality to guests across the Authority’s campus and the team recently won the 2018 Five Star Safety Award for its food safety efforts. 

|f you have dietary restrictions or allergies, we recommend you contact the GWCC to enquire about their allergy accommodations. 

Food & Beverage Sampling

Sampling of Food and Beverages is only permitted during exhibitions where they form an essential part of the event, the company exhibiting is the manufacturer of the product and it is instrumental to promoting the main product. If you wish to provide any snacks from your booth, this will need to be ordered via the onsite caterers at the Georgia World Congress Center. Please note that sampling will not be permitted without prior notification.

Hazardous Materials

Hazardous Materials such as propane are not compliant with venue regulations, meaning they are prohibited.

Internet & WIFI

Free WiFi will be available in the lobby area. If your exhibiting plan requires continuous uninterrupted connection, we recommend that you purchase WiFi through SmartCity, the official provider. Please head to the ‘Show Exclusive Suppliers’ page to proceed with your order.

Lost Property

If your property was lost whilst on the show floor, speak to a member of security, or head to the Show Management Office. All lost and found items are logged, and held in the GWCC Security Office.

MARTA

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is Atlanta's public transportation system comprised of a bus and rail system that connects all parts of Atlanta. A single $2.50 fare covers one-way bus or train trips, including transfers.
 

For many events on the GWCCA campus, parking is at a premium and MARTA is the fastest and easiest way to arrive. 

The GWCCA is MARTA accessible at three stations:

  • Centennial Olympic Park event:

    Use the GWCC/CNN Station (W-1) or the Peachtree Center Station (N-1) which is approximately a six block walk.

  • Mercedes-Benz Stadium event:

    Use either the GWCC/CNN Station (W-1) or the Vine City Station (W-2)

  • GWCC Buildings A and B event:

    Use the GWCC/CNN Station (W-1)

  • GWCC Building C event:

    Use the GWCC/CNN Station (W-1) or the Vine City Station (W-2)

Parking

Security

Show security guards will be on duty 24 hours a day from move in to move out. However, show security should not be relied upon to provide more than a presence to inhibit theft. As an additional safeguard, exhibitors may hire security service to provide exclusive security for their booth. Check with your insurance provider for information on an inexpensive Show Exhibiting Insurance Rider.

Service Animals

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service animals are trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. Emotional support animals are often used as part of a medical treatment plan (i.e. therapy animals), but are not considered service animals under the ADA. Emotional support animals are permitted within the non-leased spaces and may be restricted by Lessee in contracted spaces. Animals approved to be on the premises must meet the following confinement guidelines:


1. Animal(s) must be on a leash at all times.
2. Animal(s) must be under constant control at all times.
3. Animal exhibits are not permitted on carpeted spaces.
4. The owner or handler will be fully responsible for their animal(s) & relief area.

Shipping, Deliveries & Material Handling

All shipments made directly to the GWCCA must be sent to the attention of the General Contractor and include the event name, exhibition company, and booth number. The GWCCA does not have wheeled carts, pallet jacks, dock plates or other equipment for moving freight or other equipment throughout the facility. These items can be arranged through the designated general contractor or the FedEx Business Office.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited inside the venue as per US Law. Designated Smoking areas are available in the outdoor areas of GWCC.

Visually Impaired Aids

All facilities on the Georgia World Congress Center Authority's campus are ADA compliant. GWCCA welcomes guests with disabilities and their assistive animals and offers Braille instructions on elevators. 

Weapons

No individual may be eligible to carry a weapon into the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC), with the exception of sworn law enforcement officers possessing full-time, active duty status with a law enforcement agency that has jurisdiction within the State of Georgia, and who possesses the requisite certifications.

Wheelchairs and Scooters

From parking to the trade show floor, the GWCC is fully accessible to all guests. There are ramps at all entrances, and restroom facilities for disabled patrons are provided throughout the facility.

Manual push wheelchairs available for use by attendees while in the building. Wheelchairs are free of charge, available on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be found at the Information Desks in Buildings A, B, and C. We require a valid photo ID (driver’s license or passport) and will return the ID once the wheelchair is returned.

Scooters may be rented in advance for a fee from Scootaround. The pickup location is at the FedEx Office Business Centers located in the main lobby of Buildings B and C.
